Complaints were rampant at the swimming pool in Bodegraven regarding the quality of their indoor environment. Ipero was asked to give a second opinion, and the source of the problem appeared to lie with the newly installed air handling systems. These systems were equipped with heat pumps and various heat recovery options. Besides hydraulic failures, the standard measurement and control of these systems were also not well suited to the needs of the pool.

Customising software for these systems is not common, but was performed by the supplier. The advantageous result is that the heat pump can be used as a renewable source of energy in the pool area, and therefore, the symptoms are a thing of the past.
