“Cooperation leads to good design”

Zwolle City Hall is the administrative center of the municipality in which the mayor and aldermen are housed. The issue at hand was how to integrate a thermal storage system into the existing building. Ipero had previously created a design together with Van Losser Installation Group. In addition to the replacement of chillers by heat pumps, the design team also indicated a need for replacement of the cooling tower by a dry cooler system. Particular attention was given to the legally required measurements in order to integrate the underground thermal energy storage well into the existing system.
